Susan Dunaway, MS, LCPC

Susan loves helping people, especially children, teens and parents. While older individuals can talk through their problems, children need to communicate in their language...play. Susan believes children improve when they are believed in, encouraged to succeed, and supported through their struggles. They will find a warm, inviting, playroom where they can be free to express themselves. Teens and adults will find a professional, relaxed setting. But, no matter your age, you will find someone who supports you, dignifies you, and helps you reach your goals.

Susan is licensed as a professional counselor in both Kansas and Missouri and has been working as a counselor since 1997. In addition to counseling, Susan is an adjunct professor of psychology at Johnson County Community College. She also writes for the online portion of SUSIE magazine (www.susiemag.com), geared toward Christian teen girls. She is a member of the Association of Play Therapy.  She is married to John and mom to two young boys.
